The Roxton Patient Participation Group (PPG) have provided an update of services currently provided at Keelby Surgery.
The Roxton Patient Participation Group (PPG) are keen to ensure that a range of services are available to Keelby residents; these need to be provided both efficiently, safely and conveniently for all concerned.
Currently, the following clinical services are provided from Keelby Practice:
Monday:
- 2 x GP Clinics in the morning
- 1 x Healthcare Assistant Clinic in the morning
Tuesday:
- 1 x Healthcare Assistant Clinic in the morning
Thursday:
- 1 x Advanced care Practitioner Clinic in the morning (Urgent Appointments)
When booking an appointment, those wishing to be seen at Keelby should express this wish when making their appointment; the Practice will support this whenever possible and safe to do so.
The Roxton Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a partnership between patients, carers, and GP practice staff. It provides a forum for discussing practice issues and patient experiences with the goal of improving the quality of care and services provided by our practice. Acting as the voice of patients, the PPG plays a crucial role in shaping the healthcare experience and service developments within the practice.
Our PPG operates as a bridge between the GP practice and its patients, and is a critical friend to the practice when service reconfigurations are being considered. We encourage a broad range of patient views and are keen to ensure patients have their say.
Roxton PPG is committed to representing the full diversity of our local communities. We encourage participation from patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. By bringing together a wide range of experiences and perspectives, we can better understand the needs of our community and work towards more inclusive and effective healthcare solutions.
